We're back. Sorry for the long hiatus but surgery recovery and hurricane prep took over our lives for the last few weeks. This weekend we hunkered down with lots of supplies and a few houseguests (including a puppy!) but fared pretty well. Lots of tree debris but we were one of the few houses around that didn't lose power or have a huge tree fall down so we take it as a win. Cash loved having our friends' puppy around - they were out of town and another friend who stayed with us was dogsitting. It pretty much solidified our thinking that we are going to get a family dog in the near future. So another win for the weekend, at least for me and Cash...
